Raleigh SeniorTechEd offers computer training to seniors at community centers in the Raleigh area. The courses are designed for individual attention via hands-on experience. The objective of the courses is to build computer confidence for new users and enhance the skills of more experienced users. Our program is attuned to the specific needs of seniors, so they will be able to enjoy and use the computer for pleasure. You will learn to use your computer for games, email, music, research, looking up medical info, checking your doctor or hospital credentials, etc.

We offer small, group classes on a variety of subjects, ranging from the very basics for brand new computer users to more advanced topics. Each class has a maximum capacity of only 9 people, so everyone benefits from personal attention and instruction. Manuals and/or handouts are provided and note-taking is highly encouraged. A free workshop (#211230) is available Monday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30am for practice of class exercises or computer questions.
