Chromebooks are a newer choice for users who do not need all of the functionality of a PC or Mac. If you just use a computer to surf the Web, do email, stream services such as Netflix, do not need desktop software that you install on a computer such as Microsoft Office, and you do not need to store a lot of files on your computer,  a Chromebook is a good choice for you. Chromebooks are less expensive than PCs and Macs, easy to set up and use, and start up and shut down in seconds. They are very secure with built-in security, so you won’t have to worry about getting viruses. This seminar will discuss the basics of how to buy and use a Chromebook and prepare users for a simpler, less expensive computing experience.
